For fun, try the shark fin soup. It’s delicately flavored to accent the meaty bites of firm meat. The general’s chicken – which can be heavy and over-breaded at other establishments – is a nice blending of lightly-coated bits of chicken breast in a velvety-smooth sauce with just a hint of spice and not too much salt. Noodle lovers should try the scallops. They’re sautéed and served over fresh, light noodles giving the dish a fine balance of Asian flavors. Soy sauce and hot chili oil are provided at the table – but really, this food needs no additions. It’s just right the way it’s served. Full bar.
