The wine has a pink hue, similar to that of White Zinfandel, but thisis no sissy, sweet White Zin. This is a ‘bone dry’ fun wine. The SoloRosa has hints of ripe cherry and raspberry accompanied with a tangy acidity and good minerality followed by a hint of toastiness. This is the result of the wine being aged in French oak for five months.

This rosé is a most versatile wine, as you can drink it with foods from seafood to steaks and with a wide range of culinary styles ranging from Mediterranean to Thai and even our local Mexican.

Next time you are looking for something fun and different but still serious to drink, this is your wine, especially with warmer weather around the corner.

2005 SoloRosa California Rosé should be available at the Greenery and World Market.
