2006 Luca Pinot Noir
Hailing from Argentina, this wine has a beautiful medium cherry color with aromas of wild strawberries, saddle leather and roasted nuts. It is a complex pinot with hints of the previously mentioned aromas and baked cherry and raspberry flavors on the palate.
This is a pinot that can be enjoyed by itself as well as with foods like grilled lamb, roasted poultry and grilled salmon dishes. So next time you think you want a wine that is a little ‘out of norm’ try the 2006 Luca Pinot Noir from Laura Catena.
This wine should be available at The Greenery and at Café Central.
