2000 Edizione Pennino Zinfandel
It is made of 97 percent Zinfandel and three percent Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is what Zin is supposed to taste like, big and bold, and is a perfect accompaniment for a summer cookout.
The wine starts with a seductive and spicy aroma that lets you know it is made of ripe fruit and powerful grapes. On the palate it leads itself into a sweet berry and vanilla finish with a touch of leather. This wine has very supportive tannins and a lush character.
You should be able to purchase a bottle at The Greenery or at Café Central.
